The Porum Panthers softball team scored 18 runs and held the host McCurtain Bulldogs to 1 in the Panthers non-league win on Thursday.

Next, the Panthers play the Keota Lions (Keota, OK) in a Class A challenge, on Friday, September 5. Porum will attempt to upgrade on its 12-4 season record. The Lions enter the challenge with a 11-4 record after their 8-1 league loss to Porum (Porum, OK).

The Bulldogs (8-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Gore (Gore, OK). The Pirates enter the non-league challenge with a 7-3 record. In their last battle, Gore ran past Webbers Falls (Webbers Falls, OK), 14-1, in a non-league battle.
