The Tahlequah Tigers (Tahlequah, OK) softball routed the visiting Wister Wildcats (Wister, OK), 11-0 in Thursday's non-league outing.
The Tigers now sport a 17-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Red Oak for a non-league test on Friday, September 5. Tahlequah will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 5-0 non-league loss to Pryor (Pryor, OK). The Eagles record now stands at 5-4.
The Wildcats (10-6) will now prepare for their test against Poteau (Poteau, OK). The Pirates go into the non-league test with a 4-2 record. In their last test, Poteau toppled Sequoyah (Tahlequah, OK), 8-6, in a non-league outing.
