Georgia High School Volleyball - Academy for Classical Education over Lamar County

Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Academy for Classical Education Gryphons (Macon, GA) and the visiting Lamar County Trojans (Barnesville, GA), observed Academy for Classical Education's volleyball team top Lamar County by a count of 2-0.

The Gryphons (16-8) will now prepare for their battle against Crawford County (Roberta, GA). The Eagles go into the 1A Area 2 battle with a 3-14 record. In their last battle, Crawford County dropped by Heard County (Franklin, GA), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

The Trojans now own a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Crawford County for a 1A Area 2 battle on Thursday, September 4. Lamar County will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Heard County (Franklin, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 3-14.
