In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Durant Wildcats volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Alburnett Pirates.

The Wildcats (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Regina (Iowa City, IA). The Regals come into the non-league challenge with a 6-2 record. In their last challenge, Regina lost by Ankeny Centennial (Ankeny, IA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Pirates play the North Cedar Knights (Stanwood, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 9. Alburnett will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record.
