Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Van Buren Black Knights (Van Buren, OH) and the host Allen East Mustangs (Harrod, OH), observed Van Buren's volleyball team top Allen East by a count of 3-0.

The Black Knights (6-2) will now prepare for their battle against McComb (McComb, OH). The Panthers go into the Blanchard Valley battle with a 3-1 record.

The Mustangs now own a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kalida for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 6. Allen East will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Lincolnview (Van Wert, OH). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-2.
