With the win, Roosevelt improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Roughriders travel to Jackson-Reed (Washington, DC) to encounter the Tigers in a DCIAA battle on Tuesday, September 9. The Tigers go into the battle with a record of 2-1. Jackson-Reed won 2-0 in their recent league battle against Ballou (Washington, DC)

The Indians now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to MacArthur for a DCIAA battle on Saturday, September 6. Anacostia will encounter a Mammoths squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Dunbar (Washington, DC). The Mammoths record now stands at 1-0.
