In Thursday's non-league battle, the Springstead Eagles (Spring Hill, FL) volleyball squad toppled the visiting Anclote Sharks (Holiday, FL), by a score of 3-0.

With the win, Springstead improves its record to 8-5 on the season. The Eagles travel to Weeki Wachee (Weeki Wachee, FL) to encounter the Hornets in a non-league battle on Monday, September 8. The Hornets enter the contest with a record of 7-3. Weeki Wachee lost 2-1 in their recent non-league contest against West Port (Ocala, FL)

Next, the Sharks battle the Hudson Cobras (Hudson, FL) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, September 9. Anclote will attempt to move on its 1-5 season record. The Cobras enter the contest with a 2-2 record after their 3-0 league loss to Weeki Wachee (Weeki Wachee, FL).
