The Baker Bulldogs volleyball squad (Baker City, OR), was edged 2-1 in Thursday's non-league contest with the visiting Vale Vikings (Vale, OR)

The Vikings (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Grant Union (John Day, OR). The Prospectors enter the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Grant Union got by Prairie City (Prairie City, OR), 3-2, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Bulldogs battle the Union Bobcats (Union, OR) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 6. Baker will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Bobcats go into the battle with a 2-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Nyssa (Nyssa, OR).
