The Boone Toreadors volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host West Marshall Trojans to 1 in the Toreadors non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Toreadors now have a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Ballard for a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 9. Boone will play a Bombers team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Carlisle (Carlisle, IA). The Bombers record now stands at 4-3.

The Trojans (1-5) will now prepare for their game against Prairie City-Monroe (Monroe, IA). The Mustangs go into the non-league game with a 7-1 record. In their last outing, Prairie City-Monroe nipped West Marshall (State Center, IA), 2-0, in a league outing.
