Georgia High School Volleyball - Buford Marist

September 4, 2025: Atlanta, GA 30319

Marist War Eagles (Atlanta, GA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Buford Wolves (Buford, GA), 3-1 in a non-league challenge.

The War Eagles (11-3) will now prepare for their challenge against West Forsyth (Cumming, GA). The Wolverines enter the non-league challenge with a 13-11 record. In their last challenge, West Forsyth beat Denmark (Alpharetta, GA), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Wolves meet the Central Gwinnett Black Knights (Lawrenceville, GA) in a 6A Area 8 test, on Tuesday, September 9. Buford will attempt to improve on its 13-2 season record. The Black Knights go into the test with a 0-10 record after their 3-0 league loss to Dacula (Dacula, GA).
