The Smith Jewish Day School Lions topped the host Connelly School of the Holy Child volleyball squad by a final score of 3-1 in Thursday's non-league game.
Next up, the Lions face the Sandy Spring Friends Wildebeests (Sandy Spring, MD) in a Potomac Valley game, on Wednesday, September 10. Smith Jewish Day School will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Wildebeests go into the game with a 0-1 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Washington International (Washington, DC).
The (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Georgetown Visitation Prep (Washington, DC). The Cubs go into the ISL game with a 2-0 record. In their last outing, Georgetown Visitation Prep beat Holton-Arms (Bethesda, MD), 3-0, in a league outing.
