Indiana High School Volleyball - Monroe Central can't get by Cowan

September 4, 2025: Muncie, IN 47302

Cowan Blackhawks (Muncie, IN) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Monroe Central Golden Bears (Parker City, IN), 3-2 in a league challenge.

The Blackhawks (4-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Wes-Del (Gaston, IN). The Warriors come into the Mid-Eastern challenge with a 1-4 record.

Next, the Golden Bears play the Winchester Community Golden Falcons (Winchester, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 9. Monroe Central will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Golden Falcons come into the challenge with a 12-2 record after their 3-0 league win over Union County (Liberty, IN).
