In Thursday's league challenge, the host Grand Rapids Thunderhawks volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Denfeld Hunters.
The Thunderhawks (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Cannon Falls (Cannon Falls, MN). The Bombers come into the non-league test with a 1-3 record. In their last test, Cannon Falls went down by Chatfield (Chatfield, MN), 3-0, in a non-league test.
The Hunters now sport a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Superior for a Lake Superior test on Thursday, September 11.
