With the win, Elk Rapids advances its record to 3-5 on the season. The Elks host Petoskey (Petoskey, MI) to face the Northmen in a non-league test on Saturday, September 6. The Northmen go into the test with a record of 7-2.

The Rams now sport a 1-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Grayling for a Lake Michigan test on Tuesday, September 9.
