In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting New Ulm Eagles volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Fairmont Cardinals.
The Eagles (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Tri-City United [Montgomery-Lonsdale/Le Center] (Montgomery, MN). The Titans come into the non-league challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Tri-City United [Montgomery-Lonsdale/Le Center] beat Glencoe-Silver Lake (Glencoe, MN), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Cardinals play the Blue Earth Buccaneers (Blue Earth, MN) in a Big South - East test, on Tuesday, September 9. Fairmont will attempt to advance on its 2-2 season record.
