The Family Christian Flames volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Port Allen Pelicans to 0 in the Flames non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Flames now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Iberville for a non-league match on Monday, September 8.
The Pelicans (0-2) will now prepare for their match against St. James (St. James, LA). The Wildcats enter the non-league match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, St. James was dropped by South Terrebonne (Bourg, LA), 3-0, in a non-league match.
