The Thompson Tommies topped the visiting Grand Forks Central Knights volleyball team by a margin of 3-0 in Thursday's non-league outing.
The Tommies now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Kindred for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 6. Thompson will play a Vikings team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Grafton (Grafton, ND). The Vikings record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Grand Forks Central drops to 0-2 on the season. The Knights travel to Red River (Grand Forks, ND) to confront the Roughriders in a A - East Region game on Tuesday, September 9. The Roughriders go into the game with a record of 0-0.
