In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Hammonton Blue Devils volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Mainland Regional Mustangs.

The Blue Devils (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Our Lady of Mercy Academy (Newfield, NJ). The Villagers come into the non-league challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Our Lady of Mercy Academy beat Cedar Creek (Egg Harbor City, NJ), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Mustangs play the Absegami Braves (Galloway, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 8. Mainland Regional will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Braves go into the test with a 0-1 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Atlantic County Institute of Tech (Mays Landing, NJ).
