In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Parkston Trojans volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Hanson Beavers.
The Trojans (6-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Sanborn Central/Woonsocket (Forestburg, SD). The Blackhawks enter the non-league challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Sanborn Central/Woonsocket was beaten by Ethan (Ethan, SD), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Beavers meet the Howard Tigers (Howard, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 9. Hanson will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Tigers go into the test with a 0-4 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Freeman (Freeman, SD).
