California High School Volleyball - Helix can't get by Mt. Carmel

The Mt. Carmel Sundevils edged the host Helix Highlanders volleyball squad by a final score of 3-2 in Thursday's non-league game.

Next up, the Sundevils face the University City Centurions (San Diego, CA) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, September 9. Mt. Carmel will attempt to advance on its 11-8 season record. The Centurions go into the game with a 10-7 record after their 3-2 non-league win over West Hills (Santee, CA).

With the loss, Helix drops to 0-7 on the campaign. The Highlanders host Scripps Ranch (San Diego, CA) to play the Falcons in a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 9. The Falcons come into the outing with a record of 6-3. Scripps Ranch won 3-1 in their recent non-league outing against La Jolla Country Day (La Jolla, CA)
