Illinois High School Volleyball - Serena tips Hinckley-Big Rock

Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Serena Huskers (Serena, IL) and the visiting Hinckley-Big Rock Royals (Hinckley, IL), observed Serena's volleyball team hold off Hinckley-Big Rock by a count of 2-1.

The Huskers (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Plano (Plano, IL). The Reapers go into the non-league battle with a 3-5 record. In their last battle, Plano tipped Yorkville Christian (Yorkville, IL), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

The Royals now own a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Boone for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 6. Hinckley-Big Rock will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Christian Life (Rockford, IL). The Vikings record now stands at 3-5.
