With the win, Vinton improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Lions travel to Westlake (Westlake, LA) to encounter the Rams in a non-league test on Saturday, September 6. The Rams go into the test with a record of 0-0.
The Bulldogs now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Central for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 9.
