The Sun Valley Vanguards volleyball squad (Aston, PA), was edged 3-2 in Thursday's league battle with the host Kennett Blue Demons (Kennett Square, PA)

With the win, Kennett improves its record to 1-1 on the season. The Blue Demons travel to Avon Grove (West Grove, PA) to encounter the Red Devils in a Ches-Mont battle on Thursday, September 25. The Red Devils go into the battle with a record of 0-0.

The Vanguards now own a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pottsgrove for a non-league contest on Monday, September 8. Sun Valley will battle a Falcons team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Marple Newtown (Newtown Square, PA). The Falcons record now stands at 0-1.
