Kentucky High School Volleyball - Metcalfe County tips Larue County

September 4, 2025: Hodgenville, KY 42748

In Thursday's non-league test, the visiting Metcalfe County Hornets volleyball squad scored a tight 3-2 win over the Larue County Hawks.

With the win, Metcalfe County improves its record to 10-4 on the season. The Hornets host Cumberland County (Burkesville, KY) to face the Panthers in a District 16 test on Monday, September 8. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 3-4. Cumberland County won 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Hart County (Munfordville, KY)

Next, the Hawks play the North Hardin Trojans (Radcliff, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 8. Larue County will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record.
