The Bulldogs now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Lyndhurst for a non-league outing on Friday, September 5. Rutherford will play a Golden Bears team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Wood-Ridge (Wood-Ridge, NJ). The Golden Bears record now stands at 1-0.

The Lions (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Wallington (Wallington, NJ). The Panthers go into the non-league game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Wallington gained a win over Bergen Charter (Hackensack, NJ), 2-1, in a non-league game.
