California High School Volleyball - Mar Vista tips San Diego Jewish Academy

In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Mar Vista Mariners volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the San Diego Jewish Academy Lions.
The Mariners (2-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Hilltop (Chula Vista, CA). The Lancers come into the non-league challenge with a 10-6 record. In their last challenge, Hilltop edged Grossmont (El Cajon, CA), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Lions meet the Foothills Christian Knights (El Cajon, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 9. San Diego Jewish Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Mira Mesa (San Diego, CA).
