South Ridge Panthers (Culver, MN) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting McGregor Mercuries (McGregor, MN), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, South Ridge improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Panthers travel to North Woods (Cook, MN) to encounter the grizzlies in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 9. The grizzlies go into the test with a record of 4-0.

The Mercuries now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cook County for a Polar test on Thursday, September 11. McGregor will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Floodwood (Floodwood, MN). The Vikings record now stands at 2-4.
