In Thursday's league match, the Montrose Meteors (Montrose, PA) volleyball squad prevailed the visiting Mountain View Eagles (Kingsley, PA), by a margin of 3-0.

The Meteors now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Western Wayne for a Lackawanna bout on Tuesday, September 9. Montrose will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 3-0 league win over Scranton (Scranton, PA). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-3.
