In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Springfield Bulldogs volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the New Orleans Charter Science & Math Chambered Nautilus.

The Bulldogs (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Loranger (Loranger, LA). The Wolves come into the non-league challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Loranger gained a win over Amite (Amite, LA), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The Chambered Nautilus now sport a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Frederick A. Douglass for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 9. New Orleans Charter Science & Math will face a Bobcats squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Morris Jeff (New Orleans, LA). The Bobcats record now stands at 1-2.
