The Southeast Valley Jaguars (Gowrie, IA) volleyball held off the visiting Newell-Fonda Mustangs (Newell, IA), 3-2 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Jaguars now possess a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sioux Central for a non-league match on Thursday, September 11.
The Mustangs (4-4) will now prepare for their battle against Sioux Central (Sioux Rapids, IA). The Rebels go into the Twin Lakes battle with a 2-2 record. In their last battle, Sioux Central was tipped by Alta-Aurelia (Alta, IA), 3-0, in a non-league contest.
