Louisiana High School Volleyball - Ponchatoula over Riverside Academy

Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Ponchatoula Green Wave (Ponchatoula, LA) and the visiting Riverside Academy Rebels (Reserve, LA), observed Ponchatoula's volleyball team top Riverside Academy by a count of 3-0.

The Green Wave (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Denham Springs (Denham Springs, LA). The Yellowjackets enter the non-league contest with a 1-5 record. In their last contest, Denham Springs was knocked off by Destrehan (Destrehan, LA), 2-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Rebels battle the Southern Lab Kittens (Baton Rouge, LA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 6. Riverside Academy will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record.
