In Thursday's league challenge, the host Wirt County Tigers volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Ritchie County Rebels.
The Tigers (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Poca (Poca, WV). The The Dots go into the non-league test with a 9-0 record. In their last test, Poca nudged Nicholas County (Summersville, WV), 2-0, in a non-league test.
The Rebels now sport a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Poca for a non-league test on Saturday, September 6. Ritchie County will face a The Dots squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Nicholas County (Summersville, WV). The The Dots record now stands at 9-0.
