Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Simla Cubs (Simla, CO) and the visiting Thomas MacLaren School Highlanders (Colorado Springs, CO), observed Simla's volleyball team top Thomas MacLaren School by a count of 3-0.

The Cubs (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against Merino (Merino, CO). The Rams enter the non-league contest with a 5-0 record. In their last contest, Merino notched a victory over Holyoke (Holyoke, CO), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Highlanders battle the Rocky Ford Meloneers (Rocky Ford, CO) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, September 9. Thomas MacLaren School will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Meloneers enter the contest with a 1-4 record after their 3-0 league loss to Fowler (Fowler, CO).
