California High School Volleyball - Weston Ranch winner over Venture Academy

September 4, 2025: Stockton, CA 95206

Weston Ranch Cougars (Stockton, CA) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Venture Academy Mustangs (Stockton, CA), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Weston Ranch improves its record to 4-0 on the season. The Cougars travel to West (Tracy, CA) to encounter the Wolfpack in a non-league test on Friday, September 5. The Wolfpack go into the test with a record of 5-5. West lost 3-1 in their recent non-league test against River Islands (Lathrop, CA)

The Mustangs now own a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Linden for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 9. Venture Academy will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Liberty Ranch (Galt, CA). The Lions record now stands at 0-3.
