In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting Harnett Central Trojans football squad scored a close 26-24 victory over the Apex Cougars.
In their next game, the Trojans clash with the Western Harnett Eagles (Lillington, NC) in a non-league match, on Thursday, September 14. Harnett Central will attempt to move on its 3-0 season record.
The Cougars (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Panther Creek (Cary, NC). The Catamounts enter the non-league match with a 2-1 record. In their last match, Panther Creek held off Lee County (Sanford, NC), 20-8, in a non-league match.
