In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Capital Jaguars football squad scored a close 20-14 victory over the Belen Eagles.
In their next game, the Jaguars clash with the Moriarty Pintos (Moriarty, NM) in a non-league match, on Monday, September 11. Capital will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Pintos enter the match with a 1-1 record after their 16-6 non-league loss to Bernalillo (Bernalillo, NM).
The Eagles (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Valencia (Los Lunas, NM). The Jaguars enter the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Valencia was nudged by Highland (Albuquerque, NM), 54-6, in a non-league match.
