California High School Volleyball - Cupertino can't hold off Fremont

In Tuesday's non-league battle, the host Fremont Firebirds volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Cupertino Pioneers.
The Firebirds (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Presentation (San Jose, CA). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 4-3 record. In their last battle, Presentation nudged Wilcox (Santa Clara, CA), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Pioneers clash with the El Primero Lobos (San Jose, CA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 8. Cupertino will attempt to advance on its 0-3 season record. The Lobos come into the battle with a 1-2 record after their 3-0 league win over KIPP San Jose Collegiate (San Jose, CA).
