The South Aiken Thoroughbreds volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Mauldin Mavericks to 1 in the Thoroughbreds non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Thoroughbreds now have a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Augusta for a non-league game on Thursday, September 7. South Aiken will meet a Yellow Jackets team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Evans (Evans, GA). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 1-2.
The Mavericks (2-3) will now prepare for their game against T.L. Hanna (Anderson, SC). The Yellow Jackets enter the non-league game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, T.L. Hanna was nudged by Pickens (Pickens, SC), 2-1, in a non-league game.
