The Dons (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Melrose (Melrose, NM). The Buffaloes enter the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Melrose defeated Capitan (Capitan, NM), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Tigers encounter the Los Alamos Hilltoppers (Los Alamos, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 8. Taos will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Hilltoppers enter the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to St. Michael's (Santa Fe, NM).
