Next, the Bearcats confront the Eastern Eagles (Louisville, KY) in a District 28 challenge, on Thursday, September 7. Kentucky Country Day will attempt to better on its 6-3 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 6-3 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Brown (Louisville, KY).

The Trojans now have a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bullitt Central for a District 23 challenge on Wednesday, September 6. Southern will confront a Cougars team coming off a 8-1 non-league win over Nelson County (Bardstown, KY). The Cougars record now stands at 3-4.
