The Kettering Captains soccer squad scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Pontiac Phoenix to 1 in the Captains non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Captains (5-4) will now prepare for their battle against Lakeland (White Lake, MI). The Eagles come into the Kensington Lakes - North battle with a 0-3 record. In their last battle, Lakeland was nudged by Mott (Waterford, MI), 1-0, in a league battle.
The Phoenix (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against North Farmington (Farmington Hills, MI). The Raiders come into the non-league battle with a 1-1 record.
