Lake Norman Wildcats (Mooresville, NC) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Northwest Guilford Vikings (Greensboro, NC), 4-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Wildcats confront the Providence Panthers (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, September 6. Lake Norman will attempt to better on its 5-0 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 9-0 non-league win over Parkwood (Monroe, NC).
The Vikings now have a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ragsdale for a Metro 4A challenge on Tuesday, September 12. Northwest Guilford will confront a Tigers team coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Reagan (Pfafftown, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 6-1.
