Shepard Astros (Palos Heights, IL) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Richards Bulldogs (Oak Lawn, IL), 3-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Astros confront the Sandburg Eagles (Orland Park, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, September 6. Shepard will attempt to better on its 5-2 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Bartlett (Bartlett, IL).

The Bulldogs now have a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bremen for a South Suburban challenge on Tuesday, September 12.
