The Washington County Golden Hawks routed the visiting Butler Bulldogs softball squad by a final score of 18-0 in Tuesday's league battle.
The Golden Hawks (9-2) will now prepare for their battle against Dublin (Dublin, GA). The Fighting Irish go into the non-league battle with a 3-3 record. In their last battle, Dublin notched a victory over Montgomery County (Mt. Vernon, GA), 11-10, in a non-league battle.
The Bulldogs now possess a 0-4 record. They play next when they host Glenn Hills for a 2A Region 4 battle on Tuesday, September 12. Butler will meet a Spartans squad coming off a 10-5 league loss to Laney (Augusta, GA). The Spartans record now stands at 1-2.
