Highway 91 (Leigh, NE) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host South Sioux City Cardinals (South Sioux City, NE), 15-4 in a non-league challenge.
The now sport a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cuming County for a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 7.
With the loss, South Sioux City falls to 1-9 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Gretna East (Gretna, NE) to face the Griffins in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, September 6. The Griffins enter the challenge with a record of 6-6. Gretna East won 14-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Benson (Omaha, NE)
