The Bulldogs now own a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Saxony Lutheran for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, September 6. Sikeston will battle a Crusaders squad coming off a 20-0 non-league win over Central (Cape Girardeau, MO). The Crusaders record now stands at 2-2.

With the loss, Perryville falls to 1-7 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Hillsboro (Hillsboro, MO) to battle the Hawks in a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 7.
