In Tuesday's non-league battle, the host Stanhope Elmore Mustangs volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Alabama Christian Academy Eagles.

The Mustangs now have a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wetumpka for a 6A Area 3 test on Thursday, September 7. Stanhope Elmore will confront a Indians team coming off a 3-0 league win over Carver Montgomery (Montgomery, AL). The Indians record now stands at 3-0.

The Eagles (3-6) will now prepare for their test against Beulah (Valley, AL). The Bobcats enter the 3A Area 6 test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Beulah gained a win over Notasulga (Notasulga, AL), 3-2, in a non-league test.
