The Bend Lava Bears topped the visiting North Eugene Highlanders volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Lava Bears now have a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Redmond for a 5A Intermountain test on Tuesday, September 12. Bend will confront a Panthers team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Crook County (Prineville, OR). The Panthers record now stands at 1-6.
The Highlanders (3-4) will now prepare for their test against Marist (Eugene, OR). The Spartans enter the non-league test with a 4-0 record. In their last test, Marist gained a win over Springfield (Springfield, OR), 3-0, in a non-league test.
