With the win, Bishop Brossart upgrades its record to 7-2 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Walton-Verona (Walton, KY) to play the Bearcats in a non-league bout on Wednesday, September 6. The Bearcats go into the bout with a record of 9-3. Walton-Verona won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Williamstown (Williamstown, KY)

The Indians now own a 4-8 record. They play next when they host Bourbon County for a District 40 bout on Thursday, September 7. Montgomery County will play a Colonels squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Bracken County (Brooksville, KY). The Colonels record now stands at 4-9.
