The Golden Bears now have a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Garner-Hayfield/Ventura for a non-league game on Thursday, September 7. Bishop Garrigan will meet a Cardinals team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Belmond-Klemme (Belmond, IA). The Cardinals record now stands at 5-4.

The Eagles (1-8) will now prepare for their game against Lake Mills (Lake Mills, IA). The Bulldogs enter the Top of Iowa - West game with a 5-3 record. In their last game, Lake Mills dropped by Estherville Lincoln Central (Estherville, IA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
